Grace Tait Shelter: WELCOME

Welcome to the website of the Grace Tait Children's Shelter in Bossa, Cameroon.  Presently, the Shelter is home to 48 children ranging in age from 6 months to 17 years.  These boys and girls have come to GTCS from many places and various backgrounds but all have in common the need to be loved, cared for, and nurtured in the admonition of the Lord by Christians who desire to make much of Christ by making much of these orphans in their distress (James 1:27).

GTCS is under the direction of Pastor Mark and Nancy Waite formerly of Edgewood, New Mexico.  Mark and Nancy moved to the orphanage in September of 2011 to provide on-site leadership and management in the place of Grace Tait who became seriously ill in July 2011 and passed away and went to be with the Lord this past fall. Four of Mark and Nancy's seven children accompanied them into this ministry in Cameroon, Africa.
